EasyJob Resume Builder is similar to Easy Resume Creator Pro, except the interface is far more colorful and engaging for the user. The actual resumes come out looking more professional, but aren’t distracting enough to detract from the applicant’s accomplishments. It’s similar enough to Easy Resume Creator Pro to make both products virtually indistinguishable from each other, but different enough to warrant giving it its own review.

This program lacks the wide assortment of features you will find in our top rated entries, and the templates each of them has to offer are missing as well. While this makes the program easier to use, it detracts from the amount of things you can do with it and creates the impression that it’s less than desirable for download or purchase. For the user who just wants to create a resume or cover letter, and knows exactly what they want and what’s needed in each document, this program will satisfy their needs. Unfortunately, a lot of job seekers have no clue what to include in either one, so EasyJob Resume Builder falls really short in this area.

Since this program lacks any notable, unique features, it’s very easy to use, but it’s almost so easy to use that it isn’t worth the user’s time. They want a program whose functions are self-explanatory as long as it doesn’t insult their intelligence. This program takes simplicity to a new level, but it works in the long run. You don’t have to jump through many hoops to get a finalized resume or cover letter. Installing this program was quick and painless. No errors occurred during the installation process.

The only editing tool you’re given with this program is a spellchecker, which oddly doesn’t catch some of the errors a spellchecker should. Plus, there’s no thesaurus, so a user is at risk of repeating themselves. More editing tools would make creating a resume with this program a more worthwhile affair.

An email address, FAQs, and Troubleshooting page are available for any user who has an issue with this program. As with most programs, a customer service phone number would have helped, but due to the obscure nature of Resume Builder, it likely wouldn’t have been a good thing to spend money on. The FAQ and Troubleshooting pages answered most of our questions. The representatives attached to the email address clarified anything they didn’t cover in a timely manner.

You’re given the option of creating a basic, run-of-the-mill, cookie cutter resume with EasyJob Resume Builder. Those who know how to stand out in the process will be able to work around these limitations, but most people will have to go elsewhere to get what they want here. However, we recommend this resume writing software for its interface, ease of use, and the documents it creates. You can get what you want done easily and effectively with this program.
